Norwich midfielder signs for one month
Bolton Wanderers have signed midfielder Jacob Butterfield on a one-month loan from Norwich City.The 22-year-old becomes Dougie Freedman’s first signing since his appointment as manager at the club.
Butterfield has played twice for the Canaries this season after joining from Barnsley in the summer, starting both matches in the Capital One Cup against Doncaster Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.
At Oakwell, he previously made 91 appearances over the course of the last three seasons, scoring eight goals in that time.
Butterfield goes straight into Wanderers’ squad for the weekend fixture against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
