Bolton Wanderers fans travelling to Bloomfield Road on Saturday 10 November are being advised by local train operator Northern Rail that there will be no trains between Preston and Blackpool on that day.
Services are suspended due to on-going work in preparation for electrification of the route.
If fans plan to travel by train from Bolton or Horwich Parkway to Blackpool, they will need to get off the train at Preston and transfer to a replacement bus towards Blackpool North.
After the match, fans should go back to Blackpool North for the bus service to Preston and transfer there for trains towards Bolton.
Northern Rail is reminding fans not to board the replacement bus to Blackpool South or attempt to travel on this service after the match. Buses to and from Blackpool South will call at local stations and journey times will be longer.
