Dougie Freedman welcomes David Ngog back to his squad for the trip to Bloomfield Road
Wanderers will be boosted by two additions to the squad for Saturday’s trip to Bloomfield Road.
Creative midfielder Jacob Butterfield is in contention to make his debut against Blackpool having completed his one-month loan switch from Norwich City on Thursday afternoon.
David Ngog also returns to Bolton’s pack after sitting out the midweek stalemate with Leicester through suspension, having been sent-off against Cardiff City last weekend.
The French forward made a memorable cameo against the Welsh outfit; having a goal disallowed, earning a penalty, scoring the winner and then seeing himself dismissed for two bookable offences.
“David’s fit and looking good,” said boss Dougie Freedman. “He’s feeling confident from what he did in Saturday’s game.
“He showed a great attitude towards to the game on Tuesday in the way he supported his team-mates. He was down in the dressing room and he had energy that resulted in a positive vibe around the place, which is great.
“He has trained very well over these last two days and he’s looking forward to Saturday.”
Freedman also reported no fresh injury concerns from the draw with Leicester City.
