Elliot Newby's long-range volley against Arsenal nominated for the LFE's Goal of the Month
Wanderers youngster Elliot Newby’s goal for the under-18 team in the 5-1 demolition of Arsenal has been nominated for the League Football Education's Goal of the Month award.
The midfielder expertly struck a swirling ball on the full volley from distance that flew into the net in last month’s league game at Lostock.
