Dougie Freedman says Saturday is a big afternoon for the club both on and off the pitch
Manager Dougie Freedman says Saturday will be a significant day for the football club both on and off the pitch.
The club will unveil the Nat Lofthouse tribute statue at 10.30am before tackling Queens Park Rangers in a crunch televised Sky Bet Championship clash, 12.15pm kick-off.
“It’s only right we take time to acknowledge the great man Nat Lofthouse. When you mention Bolton Wanderers, Nat Lofthouse’s name comes straight to the front of your thoughts; his record speaks for itself.
“His family will be there for the unveil of the statue and Nat is someone this club will never forget. He is someone our players can look upon.
“Looking ahead to the game, it’s a good opportunity for us to pit ourselves against a team who I believe will be right up there come the end of the season.
“Come Saturday evening, I believe we will have played three teams that will be competing towards the top end of the league in Reading, Nottingham Forest and QPR.”
