Wanderers will finalise their 2013/14 pre-season schedule on Friday night against Real Betis
The Whites will be looking to finish pre-season on a high and will play their first game of the new season at the Reebok Stadium.
La Liga side Betis, who finished seventh last season, travelled to Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night, winning 4-2 courtesy of a hat trick from 22-year-old Chuli.
Pepe Mel’s side are midway through their pre-season of England with friendlies against Wolves and Everton yet to come.
Real Betis
Real Betis arrive at the Reebok Stadium for the Wanderers final pre-season game on the back of a successful season in La Liga.
The Andalusian outfit finished their campaign only one point behind Champions League quarter finalists Malaga and their finest hour in 2012/13 came in a 1-0 win over giants Real Betis.
Key player
Fresh off the back of his hat trick at Huddersfield Town, Chuli is preparing for his first season at the Spanish club after joining on a four year deal from Recreativo.
Manuel Jesús Vázquez Florido, Chuli’s full name, has been handed the number nine jersey ahead of the 2013/14 campaign and hit 15 goals last season for his former employers.
The referee
Recognised referee Phil Dowd will be in charge of Friday night’s 8pm kick-off. Dowd, an experienced Premier League official last took charge of a Bolton game in 2012 against Swansea City
Important reminder
