Craig Dawson and Marvin Sordell both featured for England U21s in their 3-0 win over Romania.
Centre half Dawson, on loan at Wanderers from Premier League outfit West Brom, played the full 90 minutes at Adams Park against the Romanians whilst Sordell was introduced by Stuart Pearce midway through the second half.
It was a comfortable victory for the Young Lions as they extended their winning streak to an impressive 16 months ahead of this summer’s UEFA European Championships.
Wilfred Zaha opened the scoring for England with his first goal for the U21s with a well-placed finish in the 34th minute.
Substitute Jack Robinson added a second on the hour mark to open his account before Nathan Delfouneso wrapped up the win with two minutes left.
Pearce’s men will now head to the south-coast for Monday’s friendly with Austria in Brighton.
