Adam Bogdan and Chung-Yong Lee set for senior international action
Two senior Bolton Wanderers players have been called up by the respective nations ahead of this month’s upcoming international games.
Adam Bogdan is set to feature for Hungary in their crunch World Cup qualifiers away at the Netherlands and at home against Andorra.
With two games remaining the Netherlands have already secured top spot in UEFA qualification group D, with Hungary in second place just a point clear of Turkey and Romania. The eight best runners-up in the nine UEFA qualifying groups will advance to the play-off stages.
Chung-Yong Lee is in line to play for Korea Republic, who have already booked their spot at next summer’s World Cup, in their two friendly games on home soil against Mali and Brazil. Should Chung-Yong feature in both games he will earn his 49th and 50th international caps for Korea.
Craig Davies is on stand-by for Wales’ qualifiers against Macedonia and Belgium.
At under-21 level Chris Lester (Northern Ireland), Cian Bolger and Conor Wilkinson (both Republic of Ireland) are also on stand-by.
