A look ahead to the Bolton Wanderers XI's trip to Bamber Bridge this weekend

A Bolton Wanderers XI head to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium this Saturday afternoon to take on Northern Premier League Division One North outfit Bamber Bridge.

Kicking off at 3pm, the home side are anticipated to field a virtual first team squad with Neil Crowe’s side set to be pitted against a number of Wanderers’ up and coming stars.

With the likes of Conor Wilkinson, Zach Clough and Rob Holding expected to feature for the visitors - players who featured predominantly for the club’s development squad last term – Saturday’s clash will be the youngsters’ first match of a six match pre-season campaign.

The hosts however began their warm-up to the new season with a 3-2 victory away at Longridge Town on Tuesday evening, with clashes against Chorley and Preston North End yet to come for Brig.

For supporters wishing to attend the game, entry will cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions with refreshments available inside the clubhouse.
