Midfielder secures annual award with his effort at Hillsborough
Liam Trotter's goal against Sheffield Wednesday has been voted as Wanderers' goal of the season by the club's supporters.The midfielder's 35-yard effort against the Owls scooped the gong with an impressive 43% of votes submitted, with Lukas Jutkiewicz's strike against Bournemouth securing second place with 36%.
Jay Spearing's long range strike in the Whites' 4-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers ensured him third place with 11%.
