A selection of the best images from Adam Bogdan's 2013/14 season at Bolton
The 2013/14 season was certainly a mixed one for Bolton’s Hungarian international Adam Bogdan.
The season started in a frustrating manner, and a knee ligament injury in October ruled the goalkeeper out of action until the New Year.
After recovering from injury Bogdan returned to the starting line-up in February, where upon his return he kept four clean sheets in eight consecutive games, whilst also registering his 100th senior appearance for the club.
Notable highlights included a memorable penalty save against Wigan at the Reebok to prevent the visitors from taking all three points, whilst Bogdan’s goal line antics also seemed to play in the minds of Chris O’Grady and Ismael Miller, who both missed from 12 yards for Barnsley and Yeovil respectively.
His consistent form towards the end of the campaign earned him national recognition, as he was nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for April, eventually losing out to Blackburn’s Rudy Gestede.
