A selection of the best images from Matt Mills' 2013/14 campaign with Wanderers
After being limited to just 18 appearances during his inaugural campaign at the Reebok in 2012/13, Matt Mills undoubtedly made his mark in the heart of Wanderers’ defence last term.
Despite not featuring in league action for the club inside the opening month of the season, once installed in the Bolton backline in early September, there was no stopping the former Leicester City centre-half.
A reliable figure for Wanderers throughout the duration of the campaign, Mills even found the back of the net against Nottingham Forest at the Reebok Stadium in January to secure the Whites a share of the spoils against the Reds.
A knee injury in March briefly curtailed the defender’s season, but once recovered the 27-year-old made a successful return to the starting eleven in a 1-0 win against Barnsley and went on to feature in each of Wanderers’ remaining fixtures.
