A photographic overview of Wanderers' 2013/14 club captain's campaign
With five seasons in the white of Wanderers under his belt, Zat Knight brought his affiliation with the club to an end following the conclusion of the 2013/14 campaign.
Having amassed 191 appearances in all competitions for the club since his move from Aston Villa in the summer of 2009, the Whites' club captain has proven himself a stalwart in the heart of the Bolton defence in recent years.
Not exactly renowned for his goal-scoring prowess throughout his career, it was during the past season that the towering centre-half notched two memorable efforts including a strike in Wanderers’ 5-1 mauling of Leeds United at Elland Road and a late equaliser against Yeovil Town in the latter stages of the campaign.
Now set for pastures new, the 34-year-old has undoubtedly left his mark on the club and will be fondly remembered for his efforts.
