Names of 33 who lost their lives in the Burnden Disaster to be printed within fabric of new third shirt
Following the announcement of season tickets for the forthcoming season, Bolton Wanderers are also delighted to confirm details for the for the club’s 2015/16 third shirt.
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Burnden Disaster on 9 March 2016, the Macron-manufactured limited edition third shirt will be custom-designed and have the names of the 33 individuals who lost their lives printed within the fabric.
A total of 1,000 shirts will be made available for purchase, with £10 from each sale being donated to a Bolton-based charity chosen by the supporters.
The Lancashire rose and date of the Burnden Disaster, ’09-03-1946’ will also feature on the reverse and collar of the shirt.
