Goalkeeper called up to national side for UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against Greece following return from injury
Adam Bogdgan has been named in the Hungary national team for their upcoming UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against Greece.
The goalkeeper recently returned to full-fitness and was named on the bench for Bolton Wanderers’ midweek clash with Ipswich Town, having missed the last two months through injury.
Bogdan could earn his 20th international cap against the Greeks should he figure in the match in Budapest on Sunday 29 March.
Currently sitting third in Group F behind Romania and Northern Ireland ahead of their clash last-placed Greece, Hungary will be hopeful of qualifying for next summer’s tournament in France.
Finland and Faroe Islands are the two sides that complete the group.
The top two teams qualify automatically, while third spot is at least guaranteed a place in the play-offs.
Bogdan will depart for international duty following Bolton’s weekend game against Wigan.
