Club charity partner to feature on front of Bolton shirts for league clash with Blackpool
Bolton Wanderers will carry the Bolton at Home logo on the front of their shirts for the upcoming match against Blackpool at Macron Stadium.
The game on Saturday 4 April is the club’s official community fixture in partnership with Bolton Wanderers Community Trust and social housing provider Bolton at Home.
Over 1,000 tickets in the Bolton at Home Community Stand at Macron Stadium have been donated to Bolton at Home customers, who are active in their neighbourhoods.
There will also be a range of activities held around the stadium in the run up to kick off, whilst youngsters from local football teams will take part in a half-time pitch parade.
Captain Matt Mills and Head of Community Trust Phil Mason presented the shirt to Jon Lord, Bolton at Home’s Chief Executive, at the club’s training ground on Tuesday morning.
It is the latest initiative in Bolton at Home’s seasoned partnership with Bolton Wanderers and the Community Trust, which has helped hundreds of local youngsters involved in positive activities across sport, education and volunteering through the Premier League Kicks initiative.
Jon Lord said: “Our partnership has helped teenagers become healthier, more confident and more aspirational. It also offers the potential for more work placements and better outcomes for our customers who are seeking jobs and trying to establish careers.”
Phil Mason added: “This is a great partnership with the Community Trust and we are delighted to be supporting Bolton at Home in this special fixture to highlight the great work we are doing together.
“At the Trust our projects are all about engaging with communities and helping narrow the gap of disadvantage in health, education, inclusion and disability and with Bolton at Home as a partner we can make a big impact in Bolton.”
