Charities now able to submit nominations for support from the club during the forthcoming season
Bolton Wanderers are currently seeking to sign up new charity partners for the 2015/16 campaign.
Following a successful 2014/15 season with our nominated charities which raised thousands of pounds for a number of organisations, the club are now accepting nominations for the new campaign.
Last season saw Blesma, The Limbless Veterans nominated as Wanderers’ national charity and Winston’s Wish as the club’s local charity of the year.
Alongside this, several associate charities have all benefitted from working with the Whites to support campaigns, raise profiles and raise significant sums of money to help make a difference.
Phil Mason, Club Chaplain and Chair of the Charity Policy group said, “It has been a great season and we have been delighted to work with a whole variety of charities that are make such a difference to people’s lives.
“It was great to have the special third shirt this year that raised £10,000 for Blesma, The Limbless Veterans in the centenary year of the anniversary of World War I.”
Nominations are now open for this coming season, with details of the club’s charity policy available by CLICKING HERE along with nomination form which can be found HERE.
Also during the coming campaign, the club will be recognising the 70th anniversary of the Burnden Park Disaster and again, a third shirt is planned to raise money for our nominated charity.
There are also a number of plans being put in place for the new season to recognise this important anniversary, with Mason adding, “As a club, we feel it is important to make a positive contribution in this notable year by supporting charities that are associated with Bolton.”
Nominations need to be returned to the club by Saturday 27 June 2015 for the attention of Phil Mason, either via email to pmason@bwfc.co.uk or directly to Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Macron Stadium, Burnden Way, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 6JW.
