Dennis Politic and Alex Honeyball on scoresheet as young Whites' final friendly is abandoned
Bolton Wanderers XI’s pre-season preparations came to a premature end as floodlight failure called a halt to their clash with Ramsbottom United on Tuesday night.
Falling behind to an early Gareth Seddon penalty, the young Whites pegged back the hosts as Dennis Politic headed home from a corner eleven minutes later.
Bolton then proceeded to take the lead shortly before half time as captain Alex Honeyball poked home from close-range.
The Rams did level the scores once more level just after the hour mark through Darren Green before the match was eventually abandoned after 71 minutes.
Bolton XI: Turner, Brockbank, Lonsdale, Honeyball, Lavelle, Marsh, Perry, Earing, Politic, Hall, Samizadeh.
Subs: Everest, Aspinall, Brierley, White, Grivosti, Tanner, Pasaricek.
