All the details needed for Bolton supporters looking to follow the Whites during the course of the coming campaign
Following the release of the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One fixtures on Wednesday morning, bwfc.co.uk takes a look at whereabouts Wanderers will have to travel during the new season.
After clocking up 6,233.8 miles on the road during the 2015/16 campaign, Whites supporters will be pleased to know they will only have to travel 5,868.8 miles this time around.
Out of the club’s 23 league away trips, eleven of those feature a one-way journey of less than 100 miles, with the Trotters’ three closest fixtures being Bury (15.3/30.6 miles), Rochdale (21.5/43 miles) and Oldham Athletic (22/44 miles).
At the other end of the spectrum meanwhile, Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium is the furthest that Wanderers will have to travel in Sky Bet League One with fans facing a 520 mile round-trip (260 one-way) on Tuesday 14 March 2017.
Other lengthy journeys include AFC Wimbledon (234 miles away/468 round-trip), Southend United (246 miles away/492 round-trip) and Millwall (226 miles away/452 round-trip).
Joining Bolton in the third tier meanwhile following their respective relegations from the Championship are MK Dons (336 mile round-trip) and Charlton Athletic (470 miles there and back).
At the other end of the scale though, the three teams promoted from League Two back in May have certainly added some distance onto the club’s travels with Bristol Rovers being a 178 mile journey from Macron Stadium, Oxford United the very same distance and Northampton Town 149 miles away.
Below is a comprehensive list of all of Wanderers’ away fixtures during the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One season and the distances that the club's fans will be travelling to each respective game.
