Paul Aldridge joins Bolton Wanderers

Aldridge to work alongside John Pelling in consultancy role reporting to the club's board

Bolton Wanderers can announce that Paul Aldridge has joined the club and will work alongside the new football management team.

Aldridge brings a wealth of football experience to the club, having previously worked at West Ham United, Leicester City, Manchester City and, most recently, Sheffield Wednesday, where he spent five years as vice chairman and chief executive officer.

Alongside recent arrival John Pelling, Aldridge will work in a consultancy role at Bolton, helping oversee all areas of the business and reporting to the club’s board.

Dean Holdsworth has now also taken up the role of Director of Football.

Chairman Ken Anderson said: “Paul is someone who knows the football landscape very well. He has top level experience and I am sure he will strengthen our existing senior manager team at the club.

“I am sure everyone will join me in welcoming Paul to Bolton Wanderers Football Club.”
