International watch: Rob Holding and England win Toulon Tournament

Young Lions defeat hosts France to secure top spot in summer competition

Rob Holding was an unused substitute as England's Under-21s beat hosts France courtesy of a 2-1 victory in Avignon on Sunday evening.

Having won their four previous games in the competition - two of which Holding played the full 80 minutes in - goals from Lewis Baker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek put them in control in the final with a late goal for the hosts proving scant consolation.

The success was the first time that England's youngsters have won the trophy since 1994.
