Goals from Alex Samizadeh and Dennis Politic see young Whites clinch back-to-back wins
Wanderers Under-18s extended their unbeaten start to the 2016/17 campaign as they won away at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The young Whites started brightly and took the lead through Alex Samizadeh, the forward finishing well on the turn from Cole Lonsdale's pinpoint cross to the far post.
A defensive error saw the Terriers equalise but Bolton were back in front soon after as Dennis Politic provided the finishing touch following a smart team move.
Missing chances to extend their lead following the half time interval, it mattered not at the final whistle as the Trotters secured back-to-back wins.
Speaking to bwfc.co.uk after the final whistle, coach Nicky Spooner said said: "Overall, it was another good performance to keep the unbeaten run going.
"Cole delivered a good cross from Alex to control and finish, and although we conceded a soft goal from a mistake at the back, the players showed a good attitude to re-take the lead.
"It was a very good move involving four players for Dennis to finish.
"In the second half we were always comfortable and with better composure we should have scored more."
