Andrew Madley will oversee Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship visit to Portman Road on Saturday afternoon.
The West Yorkshire-based official is currently amidst his seventh season as a professional referee. Mr Madley first took charge of a Bolton game in January 2013 for the Whites 1-1 draw with Millwall at Macron Stadium.
Since then the official has overseen a further five Bolton games, his last being the 2-1 win over Scunthorpe last December. A game in which James Henry sent the Macron crowd into uproar with his injury time winner.
He has refereed seven games so far this campaign, dishing out 17 yellow cards and no red cards, while he issued 146 yellow cards and eight red cards from 43 games last season.
Lee Venamore and Neil Davies will run the line while Matt Foley is the fourth official.
