Wanderers re-sign Zach Clough on loan

Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce the return of Zach Clough to the club on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.

Returning to Macron Stadium just a year after signing for the Tricky Trees, the 22-year-old becomes the second Forest player to have joined the Whites on Deadline Day after team-mate Tyler Walker.

Fan-favourite Clough needs no introduction to the Bolton fans as he makes a welcome return to BL6, having been on the books of the club since the age of eight after rising up through the academy ranks.

The forward marked his senior Trotters debut with the winning goal against local-rivals Wigan Athletic in January 2015, going on to score 22 times from 68 appearances in all competitions during his initial spell with the club.

Clough will be looking to pick up where he left off following his return to BL6 ahead of a potential second debut in front of the Sky cameras on Friday against Bristol City.
