Jack Earing signs pro deal as trio join club

Bolton Wanderers are pleased to announce that academy prospect Jack Earing has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 19-year-old was handed his Whites first team debut by manager Phil Parkinson against Everton in the Checkatrade Trophy back in August 2016, before featuring against both Crewe Alexandra and West Ham United in the Carabao Cup last year.

A regular for David Lee’s Under-23s side, the midfielder was also a member of the Young Whites’ team that won the Professional Development League National Title last season.

Elsewhere, Chiori Johnson, Stephen Duke-McKenna and Joe Pritchard have also signed pro contracts with the club after impressing on trial with the Under-23s towards the end of last season.

Last on the books of Arsenal, 20-year-old Johnson is predominantly a right-back but capable of playing anywhere across defence.

Having scored in the young Whites’ Professional Development League National Final clash with Nottingham Forest, 17-year-old Duke-McKenna is a versatile forward who joins the club having previously been with Everton.

Meanwhile, Pritchard is a 21-year-old central midfielder who came through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur.
