Wanderers travel to Reading on Tuesday night, looking to bounce back from their derby defeat to Preston North End last weekend.
Currently level on points, the Whites' trail the Royals on goal difference alone heading into their midweek clash at Madejski Stadium.
Having won just away from home so far this season, Bolton are yet to score on the road in 2018 but will be looking to build on an encouraging display against Norwich City in their last away outing and maintain their advantage over the Sky Bet Championship bottom three.
