Bolton Wanderers Under-23s maintained their lead at the top of the Professional Development League North on Monday night courtesy of a 1-0 win over Millwall at Lancashire FA's County Ground in Leyland.
Connor Hall took advantage of a defensive error to score the only goal of the game midway through the first half, while the young Whites had James Aspinall to thank for claiming all three point as the goalkeeper saved brilliantly from a Lions penalty on the stroke of half-time.
