Bolton Wanderers U18s were defeated 6-2 away at Hull City in U18 Professional Development League

Wanderers started the game well and controlled the tempo of the game.

With ten minutes of the clash gone, the Whites gave away a penalty which the Tigers converted.

Following this, the Whites conceded two soft goals and were three goals to the good after the break.

In the second period, Nicky Spooner's men again started well and put Hull under early immense pressure.

However, the away side conceded a soft penalty before substitute Holmes took his chance well.

Similar to the first half, two mistakes were punished by Hull making the score 6-1.

On 80 minutes, Holmes scored his second for the afternoon, with both Barnes and King-Harmes both went close to getting back into the U18s Professional Development League clash.
