The Rugby League World Cup comes to England in 2021, and tournament organisers have today (July 21st) revealed the much-anticipated fixture schedule.
It promises to be the biggest and best World Cup in the history of the sport, as the men’s, women’s and wheelchair teams all compete at the same time in a major sporting first.
Bolton will be hosting two fixtures at the University of Bolton Stadium, starting off with England vs France in the men's tournament on Saturday 30th October.
The full fixture list for Bolton is as follows:-
- England vs France (men's) - University of Bolton Stadium (Saturday 30th October) - 17.00pm
- Men's Quarter-Final (Teams TBC) - University of Bolton Stadium (Sunday 14th November) - 14.30pm
In June, it was revealed that Bolton will be the team training base for French men's team.
Bolton Council Leader, Cllr David Greenhalgh, said: “The countdown is well underway to the start of the Rugby League World Cup 2021 and the excitement is building with more and more people asking for details on the fixtures and how to get tickets for the games.
