Evatt Brings in Experienced Midfielder

Andrew Tutte has signed a one-year deal with Bolton Wanderers to become Head Coach Ian Evatt’s 16th signing of the summer.

The midfielder, who has represented England at under 19 and under 20 levels, moves to the University of Bolton Stadium after enjoying a successful trial spell with the club.

The Liverpudlian was previously with Morecambe and has had spells at Bury and Rochdale having progressed through the youth ranks of Manchester City.

An experienced campaigner, Tutte has over 250 league appearances under his belt and will be available for selection ahead of Wanderers’ Carabao Cup tie against Bradford City on Saturday.

Speaking to bwfc.co.uk, Tutte said: “I'm buzzing and over the moon to sign for such a big club like this and I can't wait to get started.

“I got to know the lads when I was in training earlier in the summer and I get on with every single one of them.

“I've been promoted from this league before and I know what it takes to succeed at this level. This group of players are capable of that, 100%!”

Wanderers Head Coach Ian Evatt added: “Andrew is a lad that we had earlier on in pre-season and he did very well.

“He had offers from higher up and chose to come here. I think that speaks volumes for the way we're doing things and I’m delighted to welcome him to Bolton Wanderers.”

Tutte has been allocated squad number 18.
