Young defender Adam Senior has joined Ashton United on a month’s youth loan.
Senior moves to the Northern Premier League top-flight to gain further experience at senior level.
The 19-year-old has made five first-team appearances for Wanderers, including two in League One during the 2019/20 season.
But the Bolton-born defender or full-back has not featured beyond the bench so far this season and so links up with Ashton to help their bid to pull away from the bottom end of the NPL Premier Division.
Senior could make his debut for Ashton – whose coaching staff includes former Wanderers’ full-back Nicky Hunt – against Warrington Town on Saturday.
