Wanderers Unveil Centenary FA Cup Final Shirt

Wanderers are ready to unveil their special centenary kit in Saturday's FA Cup tie against Barnsley.

The Whites will wear the special strip made to mark the 100th anniversary of the club's first FA Cup success in 1922/23.

Ian Evatt's men will mirror the look of the famous Wanderers' team that beat West Ham United 2-0 in the first FA Cup final to be played at the Wembley Stadium.

And supporters are also able to buy one of the special-edition replica shirts, made by kit partner Macron.

As well as the official team kit for Saturday's first-round fixture against the Tykes at the University of Bolton Stadium (KO 2pm), 1,923 shirts have been made for sale to supporters.

Each shirt comes with its own serial number, detailed in a custom label at the bottom, in a special commemorative box and available to buy in the club shop or online HERE.

The shirts worn by the team will show squad numbers but no name or front of shirt sponsor, in a further nod to the 1923 Cup final version.

Bolton Wanderers would like to thank principal shirt sponsor Service My Car for their support and generosity in making this possible.

The historic look has gone down well in the Wanderers' dressing room, with midfielder Josh Sheehan hoping the kit retains its winning feel.

“We all think it’s really nice. It’s very stylish, obviously retro and from what I’ve seen on social media the fans love it as well,” said Sheehan.

“Hopefully we can have a few games in it and have a little run in it."
