Early Bird Season Tickets: Thank You

The Early Bird season ticket window closed earlier this week with a final number of 14,358 Wanderers now signed up and ready to take their seat for 2023/24 campaign.

Initially launched in early February, the Early Bird window was extended by two days such was the unprecedented demand for season tickets.

Compared to the same window last year, 2,288 more people chose to renew or purchase an Early Bird season ticket – this is an increase in 19% overall (from 12,070 to 14,358).

Of the 14,358 season tickets sold to date, 2,474 were bought by new applicants who now possess a Wanderers season ticket for the first time.

And the club is thrilled that over 1,000 of those new tickets are for under 18s and under 12s; a whole new generation of Wanderers fans.

In total, there are now already more season ticket holders for the 2023/24 season in mid-April (14,358) than there are for the current season as a whole (14,058).

Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers said: “After last season’s phenomenal response to our season ticket campaign, we were hopeful of another great show of support - but this final number has exceeded all our expectations.

“We want to extend our thanks to every fan who continues to show a truly outstanding level of support for what we are building here.

“Throughout this exciting and competitive season that has included that very special cup win at Wembley, you have shown up in your tens of thousands and that is what continues to make us strong.

“To know so many have already taken their seat next season is something we are honoured and humbled by.

“My thanks to Sharon Brittan, Nick Luckock and Michael James as the Board of Directors for their ongoing support of our season ticketing pricing strategy and for the valued consultation of the Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust.

“Finally, I want to pay tribute to all the staff behind the scenes who have delivered this incredibly successful Early Bird window, alongside a very busy fixture schedule.”

Phase Two of season ticket sales is now open.
