Wanderers’ fans will have the chance to have their picture taken with the Papa Johns Trophy later this week.
The Trophy – won by the Whites on a memorable afternoon at Wembley – will be on display in the Wanderers Club Shop at the University of Bolton Stadium from 12noon - 4pm on both Thursday and Friday (April 13th & 14th).
Supporters will not be permitted to touch the silverware but will have the opportunity to be photographed alongside the cup – the first won by Wanderers since 1989 thanks to their 4-0 final win over Plymouth Argyle.
A queuing system to see the Trophy will be in operation in the Club Shop.
Wanderers’ Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart, said: “We wanted to take this opportunity during the schools’ Easter break to put the Trophy on display.
“The Board and manager Ian Evatt felt it was important to be able to share with the supporters the club’s first cup success in 34 years.
“We anticipate two busy afternoons so ask supporters to be patient and enjoy the chance to see the Trophy here at the stadium site.”
The Club Shop is also hosting an end-of-season sale, with 30% off replica kit, training wear and selected lines.
Supporters will also be able to buy tickets for the Whites’ remaining home games this season against Shrewsbury Town, Accrington Stanley and Fleetwood Town.
