Bolton Wanderers have been placed in Group E of the Northern Section of the EFL Trophy.
After a glorious day at Wembley to secure victory in the Final of this competition last season, Wanderers' defence of the trophy begins at the Group Stage phase.
Ian Evatt's side have been placed in Group E alongside League Two sides Salford City and Stockport County, along with Manchester United U21s.
All EFL Clubs will play two of their three matches at home in the Group Stages, with U21 teams away from home in all three fixtures.
