After Molineux, Make the Toughsheet Roar

Next Up: Boro and Bristol City

Tuesday night at Molineux showed what this Wanderers side can do. Now Steven Schumacher and the players need you behind them for two huge home games before October is out: Middlesbrough under the lights on Friday 23 October, and our Remembrance fixture against Bristol City on Saturday 31 October.

Supporters who made the trip to Wolverhampton will be talking about it for a long time. Atsuki Ito put us ahead, Sam Dalby restored the lead after Wolves levelled and Josh Sheehan sealed a 3-1 win with a stunning strike from distance. The result handed Wolves their first home league defeat of the season and gave the Wanderers back-to-back away wins in the Championship for the first time since August 2018.

“We took the game to everybody and to have back-to-back away wins in a Championship is excellent,” said Schumacher after the final whistle.

Saturday’s trip to Southampton comes next. After that, the Wanderers come home for two games in eight days, and that is where you come in. Here is what is coming, and why you want your tickets sorted now rather than on the morning of the game.

Middlesbrough, Friday 23 October, 8pm

Friday night football under the lights at the Toughsheet. No atmosphere in football compares to it. Boro arrive as one of the Championship’s early front-runners, exactly the kind of test that shows how far this side has come. Finish the working week with us, bring the people you normally only see on a Saturday  and let the noise carry the team from the first whistle.

Bristol City, Saturday 31 October, 3pm

Our designated Remembrance fixture and one of the most important afternoons in the club’s calendar.

Before kick-off, the stadium will fall silent as we come together for the Act of Remembrance and honour those who served and those who gave their lives. We will share full details and timings closer to the day. For now, we ask one simple thing: be in your seat early. The Act of Remembrance only works if the whole ground is in and ready, so arrive in good time and give those few minutes the respect they deserve. Then, at 3pm, let’s get behind the boys.

Book early, and bring someone with you

Two home games, two very different occasions, and one straightforward ask: get your tickets now.

Leaving it to matchday means queues and it means the seats next to your mates have gone. For a Friday night fixture and our Remembrance game in particular, it means risking the best areas of the ground selling out around you. Season ticket holders, your seat is already yours, so use the time to bring a friend, a colleague, a son or a daughter who has never been.

Tickets for both games are on sale now here.

Hospitality

Hospitality is also available for both fixtures, and it books up fastest of everything we sell. Whether you are entertaining clients, marking a birthday or simply fancy doing a matchday properly, the packages are worth a look and worth a look early. A Friday night kick-off is the perfect way to end the working week with clients or colleagues. Book here.

Two away wins on the bounce. Two home games.

We need you there.
