The B Team’s scheduled Central League fixture at home to Wrexham tomorrow (Tuesday) has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed in due course.
Wanderers had taken four points from their opening two league games with Daeshon Lawrence on target in a 1-1 draw at Stockport County last week.
Andy Taylor’s side, which kicked off their league campaign with a win over Preston, have been playing a series of friendly fixtures to give game time to the squad and next face competitive action against Stoke City in the Central League Cup in a fortnight’s time.
Meanwhile, B Team defender Sean Hogan has re-joined Ashton United on loan.
Hogan – who played three times for the Northern Premier League side in a previous spell – made a second ‘debut’ for the Robins in their FA Cup third qualifying round tie on Saturday.
The 19-year-old helped Ashton secure a replay from a 1-1 draw at Runcorn Linnets with the winners drawn at home to Buxton in the round before Wanderers and the rest of the clubs in Leagues One and Two join the competition.
