The B Team is back in Central League action this afternoon (Wednesday) with a trip to take on unbeaten Mansfield Town.
The young Stags have won their three games to date to sit second in the table behind leaders Oxford United.
Wanderers were beaten by Oxford last time out to suffer their first league loss of the campaign but would move up to second spot with a third win in six games.
Andy Taylor’s side has played a number of training-ground games since their 2-1 loss to Oxford last month and next week face Wigan Athletic in the Central League Cup, knowing that victory in their final group game will take them into the semi-finals.
Kick-off at Mansfield Town’s RH Academy this afternoon is at 1pm with the fixture open to spectators. Up-dates will be available on our official Academy X account @BWFCBandAcademy
Meanwhile, Wanderers’ U17s have secured a place in the final of the Professional Development League Shield.
The Whites won 4-2 at Wimbledon with goals from first-year scholars Quines Fakhy (2) and Denver Clement and U16 player Joe Lamb to set up a final date with Brentford.
