B TEAM PREVIEW | Wanderers v Salford

B Team Salford Central League

The B Team looks to make it a hat-trick of wins when they entertain Central League leaders Salford City this afternoon (Tuesday).

Andy Taylor’s side picked up three points from a 6-1 win over Wrexham in their last league outing before beating Blackburn Rovers’ U21s to set up a semi-final trip to Barrow in the LFA Senior Cup.

Salford currently head the table with five wins from their seven games, with the Whites having won two and lost two of their league fixtures so far.

Wanderers may be boosted by the inclusion of a number of senior players heading back from injury, with defender Chris Forino one of those penciled in for a run-out after playing 45 minutes for the B Team a week ago and making two brief appearances at first-team level since returning from a lengthy absence.

Kick-off at Lostock is at 1pm, with supporters asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before kick-off and be aware that no parking is available at the training ground.
