Youth teamer Harrison Rice struck twice as the B Team came from behind to beat Huddersfield in the Central League.
Rice came off the bench in the second half to secure the points thanks to an impressive fightback from the young Whites.
Andy Taylor’s men led at the break thanks to a goal from Ben Andreucci.
And even though Town then turned things round to lead 2-1, wing-back Rice proved the match-winner as he twice cut in to fire home as Wanderers avenged their Central League Cup to the Terriers earlier in the season.
The win was Wanderers’ third in the league this season and lifted them level on points with Huddersfield and Stoke above them in the table in third and fourth.
Wanderers: Hutchinson, Westwood, Toole, Hogan, Inwood, Weston, Halford, Sharples, Eze, Andreucci, Isong. Substitutes: Hayes-Green, Irwin, Rice, Lawrence, Abimbola.
