Two goals were enough to see off the threat of Blackburn Rovers with Wanderers setting up an away tie with Barrow in the semi-final of the LFA Senior Cup.
An own goal gave Wanderers the lead early in the first half following good work from James Westwood on the right wing.
Blackburn equalised with less than five minutes to go in the first half through first teamer Hayden Carter before Wanderers' trialist scored the winning goal in the final 20 minutes.

Wanderers started the better from the off and it only took 14 minutes for the breakthrough to come thanks to an own goal from a Blackburn defender.
Westwood received the ball on the right flank with two white shirts in the middle to choose from. His cross was hit hard and low which ricocheted off of Tom Atcheson at the front post as the ball rolled into the net to give the Whites the lead.
Blackburn steadied the ship after the goal but Andy Taylor's side did excellently to deny the away side any real opportunities from open play.
The equaliser came from a corner delivery just before the break. James Edmondson's corner found Carter in the area who headed past Joel Coleman which saw the score level at the break.
Wanderers almost replied instantly through David Abimbola but his low shot from just outside the area was comfortable for Nicholas Michalski in goal.
After bringing themselves level the confidence was clearly flowing through the Blackburn team with efforts from Harley O'Grady-Macken which was saved and Edmondson who tried his luck from way out but did not trouble Coleman in goal.
Ben Andreucci and Amimbola both forced saves out of Michalski in the Blackburn goal in the second half before Rovers came close through O'Grady-Macken who forced a fine save from Coleman reaching to scrape the ball off the line following a header from a corner.
But the winning goal fell the way of Wanderers thanks to the blitzing pace of Andreucci who skipped past his man with ease down the right wing before pulling the ball back to the Trialist who couldn't miss from six yards out to grab the Whites the win.
