Daeshon Lawrence action

Daeshon Lawrence was again on target as Wanderers extended their unbeaten start to their Central League campaign.

Lawrence struck the equaliser at Wrexham’s Colliers Park training ground to make it four goals in three games for the young striker.

The teenager scored in two friendlies last week and then added to his tally as Andy Taylor’s side made it two wins and two draws from their opening four league games.

Wrexham fielded a number of first-team men in the behind-closed-doors and were in front through a Jay Rodriguez goal - converted from a Paul Mullin cross - until Lawrence finished superbly a minute before the break as he steered an effort into the bottom corner.

The young Whites then continued to match a more experienced line-up to collect an excellent point before continuing their challenge for the title at home to Oxford United next week.
