Three of Wanderers’ B Team players have completed loan moves ahead of the Non-League transfer deadline.
Forwards Jez Sithole and Finlay Lockett are off to National League North for the remainder of the season.
Sithole joins Whites’ neighbours and play-off hopefuls Chorley, while Lockett has linked up with Southport for their final five games as they look to secure a mid-table finish.
Meanwhile, fellow attacker Gio Loureiro has signed on loan for Northern Premier League North-West Division side Nantwich Town to help their late push for the play-offs.
Former Gillingham forward Sithole, 21 (above), spent a short spell on loan at Altrincham earlier this season and now gets the chance to add to his first-team experience with Chorley, who are sitting fourth in the National League North table ahead of their Easter weekend double-header against Darlington and Blyth Spartans.
Lockett made a handful of senior appearances off the bench for the Whites between 2019-20 – as well as a start in the EFL Trophy – before a spell out with a knee injury and his return to action in the B Team squad.
The 20-year-old (above) now gets an opportunity of further first-team football with the Sangrounders, who go to Farsley Celtic on Friday and then entertain promotion-chasing Scunthorpe United on Monday.
The pair join B Team colleague Ben Andreucci in National League North, where the 19-year-old striker has made an excellent impression with Buxton.
Third-year scholar Louriero, 18 (above), links up with Nantwich ahead of games at promotion candidates Runcorn Linnets on Friday and struggling Hednesford Town at home Monday.
With just a couple of B Team games currently scheduled between now and the end of the season, the trio join a number of Wanderers’ other young players out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience in a competitive fixtures at a vital stage of the campaign.
Heading the list is midfielder Nelson Khumbeni, who has made a dozen League Two starts for Morecambe.
