Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the club’s official matchday bus service will return for all 2024/25 home league games, with services running 30 minutes later this year following fan consultation.
In collaboration with Tyrers Coaches as Wanderers’ coach service provider, the matchday bus service for Wanderers supporters – which has been in operation since the opening of the Toughsheet Community Stadium over two decades ago – will continue ahead of Sunday’s game against Wrexham.
The bus service will operate as per the 2023/24 campaign but after consultation with supporters who use matchday buses, the timings of the service will run 30 minutes later across all routes. Please click here for the full bus timetable.
Buses will be in service for every Wanderers home game in Sky Bet League One throughout this season. Unless otherwise stated, buses will not be running for cup fixtures (Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Bristol Street Motors Trophy), unless the club feels demand requires this to take place.
We can also confirm that bus fares will remain at the same price at last season, with any return ticket priced at £7.
Phil Mason, Chief Operating Officer at Bolton Wanderers and Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers in the Community, said: “The matchday bus service is part of the matchday tradition at Bolton Wanderers home league games.
“We know a number of fans rely on this service as a way of getting to games at the Toughsheet therefore we are delighted to offer this once again this season.
“Our thanks must go to Tyrers Coaches once again for their support of our club and for providing an efficient matchday bus services and we look forward to continue that positive, working relationship moving forward.
“The support we get from Wanderers’ supporters, especially at home, is incredible and we hope this ensures that level of support can continue as we approach our first home league game this weekend.”
