Wanderers host Championship opposition in the form of Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup First Round on Wednesday night.
The Whites come off the back of a 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle with goals from Captain Eoin Toal and Mason Burstow on his home debut.
Visitors Sheffield Wednesday began their Championship season on Sunday.
Wednesday almost took an impressive point away at Leicester City but a Barry Bannan red card and a Wout Faes 87th minute winner denied them a draw.
Press Conferences
Steven Schumacher: "The result and the performance from Saturday's game should give us a bit of confidence going into the next one but the preparation stays the same.
"For us it's another game in the season that we want to try and do well in. I think with it being so early in the season it will be an opportunity for us to make changes and give people minutes because that is still something that we have to be aware of.
"I don't think you get fully fit and up to speed until probably five or six competitive intense games. So the more players we can get to that level, the better it will stand us.
"But it's a game that we want to win. We've got competition for places in pretty much every position in the team so far, so anyone who plays on Wednesday night will have an opportunity to stake a claim."
Team News
There were no new injury concerns for Wanderers following Saturday's win but Steven Schumacher hinted that he's looking to give minutes to those who need them in the early part of the season.
The Whites Boss mentioned how crucial momentum is in football and the focus will be there to maintain it on Wednesday night whoever is in the starting XI to go out and win the game.
The visitors are likely to make numerous changes from their opening game against Leicester City. Goal scorer Nathaniel Chalobah went off injured at the King Power Stadium and will miss tonight's game.
Right-back Yan Valery will be assessed after also going off early in the game at Leicester City on Saturday. Captain Barry Bannan will serve his one game suspension tonight.
