We can confirm that Conor Carty has joined League Two side Doncaster Rovers on a loan-deal until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The forward joined Wanderers’ B Team squad in June 2022 after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he came through their Academy set-up to play U23 football at Molineux.
After netting in Wanderers' first team game against Tranmere Rovers in the Papa Johns Trophy, Carty then had loan spells in the National League with Oldham Athletic and Gateshead before a highly successful season-long loan stay in his native Ireland this year with St Patrick’s Athletic.
Helping the Dublin-based club to third in the League of Ireland as well as winning the FAI Cup in front of a record crowd of over 43,000, Carty returned to Wanderers and was rewarded with a new long-term contract recently alongside Luke Matheson.
Carty – who has also been capped by the Republic of Ireland at U21 level – will now link up with Grant McCann's side in League Two with a view to gaining more first team minutes to aid his footballing development.
Good luck, Conor!
