Collins Nominated For Goal Award

Aaron Collins is in the running to make it a hat-trick of Wanderers’ winners of the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award.

After Zac Ashworth and Paris Maghoma won the prizes for January and February, respectively, Collins has been nominated for the March award.

The in-form Whites’ striker, who has scored six times in his last seven games, is on a four-man shortlist thanks to his superb goal against Oxford United.

Collins rounded off a brilliant team goal from Ian Evatt’s men, being involved in the build-up and then meeting the ideal cross from Nathanael Ogbeta with a perfect, sliding far-post finish as Wanderers romped to a 5-0 win

Goals from Lincoln City’s Jack Moylan, Nigel Lonwijk of Wycombe Wanderers and Reading’s Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan are also on the shortlist, with fans able to vote for their favourite on the link here:

Closing date is 5pm next Monday and  supporters' votes will then be combined with the choices from a judging panel of Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman and David Prutton to decide the winner. 

Winners from the three EFL divisions will then be announced on Friday 26 April.
