The first new BWFC Fan Stones are to be laid next week as supporters get the chance to see their name woven into the fabric of Wanderers’ home.
In conjunction with Bolton-based Hardscape, Wanderers have launched the Fan Stones project to replace all existing personalised bricks/stones outside the main entrance at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and beside the Nat Lofthouse statue.
Stones are also available to buy to display new supporter names, with the first panel of named stones to be installed in the McGinlay Panel – honouring club icon John McGinlay – along with replacement of the existing square panel at the front of the stadium from Monday, 28th July.
As a result, any order placed for a stadium stone (standard, large or premium) will now be progressed, together with hundreds of others, to manufacturing and then shipping direct to the stadium.
Customers are informed that the order status on their account will be updated to COMPLETE, but please be aware this does NOT mean your stone is now installed and you should not visit the stadium to look for it.
Any supporter who owns an existing personalised brick/stone being replaced and would like to obtain the original when it’s removed should please contact the club directly via email at facilities@bwfc.co.uk
Collections can be made only by prior arrangement, and during the week commencing August, 4th 2025. Stones will be held in storage, so please ensure you contact BWFC prior to coming to the stadium.
Please be advised that many of the existing stones have been in place for a long time and, while the utmost care will be taken, some may be damaged or broken once removed.
Hardscape – hard landscaping experts established in 1994 – are a Business Partner Elite Member at Bolton Wanderers.
