The floodlights. The atmosphere. The White Wall. Friday night football is coming to the Toughsheet Community Stadium – and more than 25,000 tickets have already been snapped up for Wanderers' clash with Middlesbrough!
There's just something about football under the lights, isn't there?
The anticipation as you approach the stadium. The iconic floodlights illuminating the night sky. The familiar faces, the pre-match chatter, the smell of the matchday pies and that wonderful moment when the teams emerge and the noise goes up another notch.
And this Friday, we have all the ingredients for a very special night.
Middlesbrough are the visitors for an 8pm kick-off, with Sky Sports broadcasting the action live to a national audience. The cameras will be rolling, the atmosphere will be building and the stage is set for another memorable evening at the Toughsheet.
And we want YOU to be part of it.
Steven Schumacher's side return home with plenty to be proud of after two outstanding performances on the road.
First came that sensational 3-1 victory at Wolves, a result to savour and a performance packed with quality, confidence and character.
Then came a hard-earned point at Southampton, where Wanderers stood firm against another highly fancied opponent, kept their attacking threats at bay and caused plenty of problems of their own.
Two very different challenges. Two performances that showed what this Wanderers side is capable of.
Now it's back to our own patch.
And what better way to welcome the boys home than with a sea of white, scarves held high and the sort of atmosphere that only the Wanderers faithful can create?
Middlesbrough arrive flying high and will provide another formidable challenge. But with more than 25,000 tickets already sold, Friday promises to be a proper footballing occasion.
The White Wall will be ready to make itself heard. And from one end of the ground to the other, every voice can make a difference.
And why wait until kick-off to get the evening started?
The Dream 2 Reality FanZone will also be open, so make sure you arrive early, grab yourself something to eat and drink, meet up with friends and fellow Wanderers, and soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
After all, Friday nights were made for getting together, enjoying yourself and watching the Whites. And there's no better way to round off the working week than with a bit of food, a drink and a big game of football. We'll even do the washing up for you!
Whether you're there every week or you've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to get back down to the Toughsheet, this is your invitation.
Bring your mates. Bring your family. Bring your scarf. And, most importantly, bring your voice.
Because while millions can enjoy the action live on Sky Sports, nothing quite matches being there. Feeling the anticipation. Hearing the roar. Sharing every tackle, every chance and every moment with thousands of fellow Wanderers.
It's football as it should be experienced.
The players have given us two performances to be proud of on the road. Now let's give them a night to remember at home.
With a bumper crowd already guaranteed, don't leave it late to secure your seat.
