Goalkeeper David Harrington lines up against his former club as Wanderers spread the game time for their latest pre-season test.
Only three players who started Saturday’s goalless draw with Everton start again, with former Fleetwood loanee Xavier Simons joined in the XI by winger Kyliane Dong and striker Sam Dalby.
Harrington returns to the Highbury Stadium after signing for Wanderers last January and gets a chance – along with a number of young players – in the Whites’ penultimate’ public work-out before the season starts.
Boss Steven Schumacher – another former Fleetwood player in the Wanderers’ party – names a 23-man squad with multiple changes expected against the League Two side.
Wanderers play their final scheduled friendly at home to NAC Breda on Saturday.
